We’ve got some big news to share

A few months ago, our client St Paul’s Cathedral, nominated Insight-ful for the prestigious Insight in Fundraising Award. Initially, we started working with St Paul’s on their falling membership numbers, but this expanded to a successful initiative in signing up new members, targeting visitors and identifying the audience for their new giving programme, an SMS contribution service that the Guardian called iPrayer.

Yesterday, we were told that – despite being nominated for two categories – we’ve actually been shortlisted for three.

Supplier of the Year

Rising Star – Jonathan Cook

So yes, Insight-ful may be a small and new company, but we are a very proud one as well.

Our company was founded on the idea that all charities should have access to research and insight. Like many of our clients, St Paul’s had a small budget and, as they said themselves, they “are not traditionally trained business people,” but “members of the cloth.” They were grateful that, not only was our data accurate, but we pitched “the delivery of insight in a way that was easy to understand by all staff at the Cathedral.” We then took that data and offered up some innovated solutions that have completely changed their approach to fundraising.

It is essential for all organisations – especially one that is a national monument for our country – to have the same access to data and the guidance on how to use it, as major companies.

The winners will be announced on June 10th at a gala dinner at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Wish us luck!
